Can a Hongqi imported from China be fixed remotely?
Yes. OEM engineers in China connect to Chinese-version and export Hongqi cars through an ENET cable and your Windows PC and run the factory diagnostic software: OTA updates, fault-code clearing, ECU coding, key programming and crash-lock recovery. Sessions from $130, quoted before you pay.
FAW’s premium brand. The E-HS9 was exported officially to Norway and the Middle East, but Chinese-market cars need engineer access for OTA updates and keys.

Hongqi is not in the published list, so the default rates apply and the engineer confirms the exact fee at booking. OTA updates, ADB and app installs and ADAS calibration are billed at the diagnostics rate. ECU coding and full firmware flashes are quoted per job. Prices checked 5 September 2026.
